Brigadier General (res.) Orly Stern serves as CEO of Ayalon Highways. An architect by profession, she formerly held a range of positions within the IDF and the Ministry of Defense. Until 2017, she headed the IDF’s Construction Division and was also deputy head of the Ministry of Defense’s Engineering & Construction Division. Her responsibilities in these roles included planning and managing billion-shekel projects, as well as leading and managing several HQ units in the IDF. She graduated from the Technion with a BA in Architecture & Urban Planning, and from Bar-Ilan University with an MBA in Political Science, Government & Public Policy.
